Bio

  • Black note ensemble is a group of boys, singing in a sophisticated style of afro-pop with an infusion of R&B. It started in 2017 with its first performance resulting in a win of the Pukki talentfees in May 2018.
  • The choir has apeared in the following events: Performed in a Stabat Mater (dvorak) concert hosted by NWU Mafikeng choir. Hosted a successful first ever annual concert (August 2018); Took part in an open day performance of NWU pukke; Performed in ABC Motsepe Eisteddfod 2018 North west provincial elimination round; Performed at the 2018 top 30 South African high school athletics in Potchefstroom; Dinner party hosted by the NWUs VC; Performed at the VCs 2018 awards at the Roots; Crista gali’s African summit; Educational summit in NWU pukke; Performed in the opening of Varsity cup 2019, (NWU pukke vs WITS); Took part in the opening concert of the NWU serenaders in 2019; Performed in the opening of Varsity athletics 2019, held in Potchefstroom; Participated in KG media management events partnered with Rock FM in Welkom, celebrating Lungile’s birthday party.
