Bio

  • The chorus "Ventus" was created in 1993 on the base choir school at the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for gifted children to start professional training for the future artistic career. In the structure of "Ventus" are children aged 10-16 years. There are choral and vocal music of Russian and foreign composers - classics, contemporary (modern) music, folk songs in the chorus repertoire and, of course, scenes from operas written for children's voices.
  • The choir participates in opera performances, and is proud of its own theatrical productions.
  • The Chorus "Ventus" has many national and international achievements (selected:) the Laureate of, the second All-Russian Schoolchildren Olympiad on choral art "Choral Olympus" (Kazan, 2013); the Laureate of the First Children's and Youth Chorus of the world championship (St. Petersburg, 2014), the Laureate of the All-Russian Open Children's festival - (Syzran, 2015, 2016), the Winner (the Golden Diploma) of the III Europian Choir Games and the Silver Medal of the Grand Prix of Nations (Riga, 2017), the Winner (the Golden Diploma) of the VI Children and Youth Choir World Championship (Saint Petersburg, 2019).
