- Gdansk University Choir is one of the most valued university choirs in Poland. It has been representing the University of Gdańsk for 49 years, both in the country and abroad. The ensemble cooperated with the greatest personalities of classical and popular music. The Choir performed with, among others, Krzysztof Penderecki, Ennio Morricone, Jean-Michel Jarre, J. A. P. Kaczmarek and Leszek Możdżer.
- The Choir's repertoire includes oratorios as well as Polish and foreign a cappella works of different music styles and periods.
- The group has participated in many prestigious music festivals and World Choir Games, for example in Busan (South Korea), Bremen (Germany), Xiamen (China) and Riga (Latvia) and received top awards and grand prizes at international competitions in Poland and abroad. Most recently, the Choir won the Grand Prix at the XIII International Sacred Music Festival “Silver Bells” in Daugavpils, Latvia and the Grand Prix at 8th International Choir Competition and Festival “Canco Mediterrania”, Barcelona, Lloret de mar. Also, the group tours quite extensively (most recently across China, Ecuador and the Balkans).
