Bio

  • Its date of birth can be considered April 23, 2007, when the first rehearsal took place. Despite its immature age, the choir deserved acceptance from audiences not only in the Republic of Karelia, but also in many cities of Russia and Europe.
  • Performances were held in cities of Norway, Finland, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Austria, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Switzerland, Lithuania, Hungary, Italy as well as Russian cities,
  • The choir holds prizes from various All-Russian and international contests (selected): The best choir in the category "Sacred music" at the 7th International Student Choir Forum «Paparats Kvetka» (May 2012, Minsk, Belarus); Laureate at the International contest of male choirs (June 2012, Vallee de Joux, Switzerland); Laureate at the 4th All-Russian contest contest of academic choirs named after L.Sivukhin (November 2013, Nizhny Novgorod); Gold medal holder in the nomination "Male chamber choir" and silver medal holder in the nomination " Sacred music " at the 8th World Choir Games (July 2014, Riga, Latvia); Gold medal holder in the nomination "Male chamber choir" and silver medal holder in the nomination " Sacred music " at the 9th World Choir Games (July 2016, Sochi, Russia); First-class laureate at the 21 International Stasys Simkus Choir Competition (May 2018, Klaipeda, Lithuania)
