  • The PVAO Chorale is the choral ensemble of the Philippine Veterans Affairs Office (PVAO), a government agency/bureau under the Department of National Defense.
  • The PVAO Chorale is also a supporter of the SOS Children’s Village Calbayog City in Western Samar, Philippines. Annually, the group travels to this part of the country for its outreach activity – touching lives of children and impacts on preparing future defenders of the nation.
  • The Philippine Veterans Affairs Office is proud to have achieved the Island of Governance status under the Performance Governance System (PGS) for “Institutionalization” with focus on its service delivery under “Kagitingan” Roadmap 2028 – Empowering the Veterans and Motivating our Future Defenders.
  • In March 2011, the PVAO Chorale, joined the 1st Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition under the Festival/Evaluation Performance Category. After 4 years, the Chorale participated during the 4th Vietnam International Choir Festival and Competition. It competed under the Mixed Choir Category and earned a SILVER. In 2015, the PVAO Chorale opened its doors to welcome professionals who are descendants of War Veterans (World War II, Korean War, and the Vietnam War). This way, we continue to inculcate “Love of Country” among the youth and the citizenry.
