Bio

  • The choir “Raduga” (Rainbow) was established in 2002. More than 150 children aged from 4 to 18 years are the members of the section. During eight years pupils study vocal and choral art, theoretical disciplines, learn to play musical instruments.
  • The main purpose is the development of creative skills of a child on the basis of musical and aesthetic education. The main tasks are to find and to develop the natural musical abilities of children, to help children in forming professional musical skills, to help with possible future choice of profession in musical art, to build and cultivate aesthetic taste of performing and listening to music.
  • “Raduga” is a constant participant of international festivals. It has the Grand Prix of the XVIII Moscow children's and youth choir festival-competition of the best performance of sacred music “Christmas Carol”, and also winner of diplomas and prizes of different international competitions: 62 International Choir Competition in Neerpelt, Belgium - 2014; INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL CHORUS INSIDE RUSSIA in Moscow, Russia – 2015; III Children and Youth Choir World Championship in St. Petersburg, Russia – 2016; XIV Moscow International Children and Youth Choir Festival "Moscow Sounds!", Russia – 2016; II International Choral Festival "Crystal Bell", Estonia – 2017; “II International Choral Competition Kalamata 2017”, Greece – 2017; XVIII International Festival of Orthodox Songs "Kolozhsky Blagovest", Belarus – 2019; International choral festival of Church music "Hajnuvka-2019" Bialystok, Poland-2019
