Bio

  • The Choir Of Haishu District students was established in 2010 and formed through the selection of members from primary and secondary schools in Haishu District. The goal of the choir is to create a first-class choir.
  • Since its foundation choir has undertaken large-scale performances at the district and city levels, and has effectively promoted the Haishu district children's Palace. The choir has more than 200 members. Experts are regularly hired to give artistic guidance.
  • Choir has participated in national and international choir competitions: In 2015, choir participated in the Hong Kong International Youth Choir Festival and won the first prize and Silver Award in Group A2, children's choir. In 2017, choir won the Gold Award in the children's choir group at the 6th National Children's Chorus Festival held in Zhaoqing, Guangzhou. In 2018, choir was awarded grade a choir in the fourteen China International Choral Festival. In 2019, choir participated in the 7th China Children's Chorus Festival and won the Gold Award of junior group.
